Premier Hotel Corporation was recognized with the "Top Performer of the Year" award for their Suburban Extended Stay Hotel, St. John's Bluff in Jacksonville, Florida and the "Quality Excellence Award" for their property in Huntsville, Alabama.  AFCO Lodges, LLC received the "RevPAR Leader Award" for their Suburban Extended Stay Hotel in Pensacola, Florida.  The Generation Companies was awarded the "Curry-Henderson Memorial Award" for superior quality and service.

"Top Performer of the Year" is given to the property with the strongest overall occupancy.  Located near the University of Northern Florida, Jacksonville Beach and Jacksonville International Airport, the St. John's Bluff location held the highest occupancy in 2002. 

The "Quality Excellence Award" is given to the location with the highest overall quality rating.  During a recent secret shopper program, the Huntsville property received high marks in all categories and exceeded standards in customer service and cleanliness. 

The "RevPAR Leader Award" recognizes the Suburban Extended Stay Hotel with the highest sustained RevPAR.  The Pensacola property was the highest revenue grossing location of the 62 Suburban Extended Stay Hotels nationwide. 

The Curry-Henderson Memorial Award was created this year in honor of Ron Curry and Bill Henderson, who both epitomized the meaning of quality and service with the Suburban system. The Generation Companies have a forty-year family heritage of creating value through their clean, quality hotels and exceptional customer service.  This prestigious award was presented in recognition of The Generation Company properties achieving above average operating numbers and outstanding quality scores in a recent secret shopper program.
