  Dolce International Begins Construction on Spanish
Conference Destination in Sitges, Spain

Montvale, NJ - USA (October 2002 ) - Leading conference center company, Dolce International, has begun construction on its Barcelona Conference Destination in Sitges, Spain. Dolce Sitges, scheduled to open in July 2004, will be the first and only dedicated conference center delivering the conference center concept in Spain. 

The site is located in Costa de Garraf, Sitges and is a 30-minute drive from Barcelona City and a 15-minute drive from Barcelona International Airport. The new property will consist of 260 four-star guest rooms and suites. The conference area will have 20 meeting rooms, a fully equipped business center, and a total of 43,056 square feet of conference space. There will be a main dining room with two private dining areas and a gourmet restaurant for a la carte dining. Onsite recreational facilities will include a fitness center with indoor swimming pool, two outdoor swimming pools and two outdoor tennis courts. Dolce Sitges is adjacent to the Sitges Golf Course and near the beach. Through an affiliation with Med Group, owner and developer of several golf resort communities, guests will have access to three golf courses, all within the direct vicinity of the property. 

Minister of Tourism of Catalonia Antoni Subira, Major Pere Junyent I Dolcet of Sitges, Jordi Robinat Chairman of Med Group and Andy Dolce, Chairman and CEO of Dolce International, officially laid the first stone. Among the invited guests were local dignitaries and corporate neighbors as well as members of the press.
