Designed by Boston�s own Peter Niemitz, President of the Niemitz Design Group, Ocean Edge�s new Golf Clubhouse offers more than 4,000-square-feet of private event space, a new restaurant and Golf Pro Shop.  The new Linx Tavern & Bar offers al fresco and inside dining overlooking the scenic golf course.  The restaurant serves hip cocktails, fresh salads and grilled entrees including fresh local seafood, prime meats and chicken.  In the morning, Linx serves gourmet coffees and oven fresh pastries and in the evening, musical entertainment is often featured.  The new Golf Clubhouse is an ideal space for weddings, rehearsal dinners and other celebrations and offers a nice change of pace for meeting planners and attendees.  The well-appointed meeting rooms have views of the golf course and weather permitting, lunches and afternoon breaks may take place outside.  Also located inside the Clubhouse is the Golf Pro Shop, which carries everything from state-of-the-art golf clubs and equipment to comfortable golf attire.

"The clubhouse and tavern have been redesigned in an "American Craftsman" style,� said designer Peter Niemitz.  �This classic look features slate flooring, rich mahogany and cream painted wall paneling, wool carpeting and custom craftsman inspired brass lighting with green and amber glass.  Linx offers a warm clubby ambience with a long bar and generously scaled furnishings,� Niemitz added.

The new Arbor Villas, completed in August 2001, are located in Ocean Edge�s Arbor Village, situated along the 16th hole of the resort�s championship golf course.  The villas combine the comforts of home with the ultimate ambiance of Cape Cod.  Each villa includes a living room, fully equipped kitchen, bedroom, private bath and patio or balcony.  Interior designer Kathy Corcoran furnished the villas with airy white and blue courtyard furnishings that emanate a Nantucket feeling.  The popular Arbor Pool, championship golf course, tennis courts, new Golf Clubhouse, Linx Tavern and other resort amenities are within a moment�s walk of the Arbor Villas.
