October 2002...Benchmark Hospitality has appointed Jeff Farina as chief
development officer for the expanding company. Burt Cabanas, chairman
and chief executive officer, made the announcement.
Before joining Benchmark�s executive team, Jeff Farina was director of sales and marketing for The AT&T Learning Center, a Benchmark Hospitality property located in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, which is currently being repositioned as The North Maple Inn. Prior to his tenure with Benchmark, Mr. Farina held positions of sales leadership at hotels and conference centers in markets throughout the country. Jeff Farina graduated with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Iona College, located in New Rochelle, New York. He was also awarded his Master of Business Administration degree from Iona, graduating with honors, and is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society. Mr. Farina serves on the Board of Directors for the International Association of Conference Centers. He has chaired various committees for the organization, including the ONLINE committee. Benchmark Hospitality, an international hospitality management company based in The Woodlands, Texas, operates luxury resorts, hotels, spas, golf clubs and conference centers throughout the United States, in Canada, and Japan. |
