Educational Institute Introduces Three New Skills Guides,
Certification Programs

Products Target Training for Maintenance Employees, 
Retail Cashiers, and Valet Attendants
ORLANDO, Fla., July 2002 -The Educational Institute of the American Hotel & Lodging Association has introduced three new titles into its line-level Hospitality Skills Training Series.  The guides for Maintenance Employee, Retail Cashier, and Valet Attendant provide practical, step-by-step training information that will prepare employees in these positions to pursue Hospitality Skills Certification in their job area. 

Each skills guide is a three-ring binder that contains 200-300 reproducible pages filled with detailed job knowledge information, task lists, task breakdowns, and job tips. Spaces are provided for properties to add their own training information as needed. Employees who are trained with the skills guides are prepared to complete the written exam and skills proficiency testing that is required for EI’s line-level Hospitality Skills Certification.
