Jim Chittenden Named Director of Food and Beverage
at Bell Harbor International Conference Center
& World Trade Center, Seattle
Columbia Hospitality, Inc. Announces Promotions and New Hires

July 24, 2002- Seattle, WA -- Columbia Hospitality, Inc. (CHI) a Seattle based hospitality management and consulting company, is pleased to announce second quarter new hires and promotions:

Bell Harbor International Conference Center & World Trade Center Seattle
 

Jim Chittenden 
Jim has been hired as the Director of Food and Beverage.  Jim worked for Ritz Carlton for 11 years in various positions throughout their food and beverage organization.  He has also worked at Tully's and most recently at Cucina! Cucina!.

Jenny Harding 
Jenny has been hired as an administrative assistant at Bell Harbor International Conference Center. Formerly she worked for Microsoft.
 


Jim Chittenden
Coralene Brester  
Coralene has been hired as the Group Services Coordinator for the World Trade Center Seattle, she has been with the company for one and a half years.

Samuel Alie 
Samuel was promoted to Food and Beverage Manager at Bell Harbor International Conference Center in April. Formerly Samuel was a server for World Trade Center Seattle.

Nicole McDonald 
Nicole was promoted to Human Resources Assistant for Bell Harbor International Conference Center in April. Formerly Nicole was the Office Manager for Bell Harbor. She has been with the company for three years.

Emily Gooding 
Emily has been promoted to Director of Conference Services for Bell Harbor
International Conference Center. Emily was previously the assistant director of event planning and has worked for the company for two and a half years.

Jenika Olson 
Jenika has been promoted to Sales Manager handling the hi-tech and
communications markets. Jenika was the sales assistant for the past two
years.

Amy Carlyle-Clark 
Amy has been hired as the Training and Development Manager for Bell Harbor
International Conference Center.  Most recently, Amy was the Pacific Northwest Customer Relations Manager for Nextel Communications, Inc. Over the past four years, she also worked in a variety of other management positions for Nextel Communications, Inc. She has a BA in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Masters in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix.

Columbia Hospitality, Inc.

Ryan Makinster 
Has been hired at the Marketing Manager for Columbia Hospitality, Inc. Formerly Ryan was the Marketing Manager for Axis Restaurant and prior to that, he was the Marketing Director for Six Degrees Restaurants for two and a half years. He has a BA in Communications from Washington State University.
