Hospitality Upgrade Magazine to Produce the
Industrys First CIO Summit

ATLANTA June 20, 2002 Hospitality Upgrade magazine, the technology source, will produce the hospitality industrys first CIO Summit on September 4-5, 2002, at the Hotel du Pont in Wilmington, Del. The prestigious two-day event will gather 25 chief information officers (CIOs) from the industrys leading companies.

The CIO Summit 2002 will offer two key sessions. The first session is educational and examines the potential impact that customer data privacy and security legislation may have on the hospitality industry. The second session offers an executive roundtable discussion based on topics submitted by the attendees. KPMG Consulting is coordinating  industry professionals who will introduce and present a brief overview of each of the session topics, and will then moderate an open discussion among the attendees.

These 25 people have the same concerns as to where we are as an industry, and more important, where we are going, Richard Siegel, Hospitality Upgrade president and publisher, said. I feel confident this meeting will help make the journey a little easier.
