Doubletree Hotel Boise Downtown Reflagged to WestCoast Hotel Boise Downtown |
| April 30, 2002 - WestCoast Hospitality Corporation
today added to its WestCoast Hotels brand by re-flagging the Doubletree
Hotel Boise Downtown, located in Boise, Idaho. The 182-room property
is now the WestCoast Hotel Boise Downtown and the seven-story property
includes 8,600 square feet of meeting space. WestCoast Hospitality Corporation
acquired the property in December 2001 in an acquisition that included
two Doubletrees and the entire Red Lion Hotels & Inns brand.
The WestCoast Hotel Boise Downtown is just 15 minutes from the Boise airport and very close to the State Capital, Boise Convention Center and other popular attractions. A wide range of amenities includes an outdoor pool and spa, fitness center, business center, complimentary parking and airport shuttle and easy access to the Greenbelt Jogging Path. All-day dining is available at the Coffee Garden and Characters Sports Bar offers pool, darts and big screen sports. WestCoast Hospitality Corporation operates two other hotels in Boise, each with its own market niche.
