Benchmark Names Mark Ansteth Director of Sales
& Marketing at Cheyenne Mountain Resort

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado, March 25, 2002 -- Mark Ansteth has been appointed the director of sales and marketing for Cheyenne Mountain Resort.
Ansteth brings 25 years of hospitality and travel industry management experience to Cheyenne Mountain Resort.  He has assumed responsibility for overseeing all sales and marketing activities and programs at the upscale resort set in the Colorado Rockies in the shadow of famed Pike's Peak.
 
"A major focus of our sales and marketing efforts will be building the resort's leisure  business," said Ansteth. "For the first time, we will be reaching out to various niche markets - from families to golfers - with special programs and packages."

He comes to Colorado Springs from Steamboat Springs, Colorado, where he was director of sales and marketing for The Steamboat Grand Resort Hotel & Conference Center.  Previous positions

include president, Expert Travel, San Diego;  director of sales and marketing, Doubletree Golf Resort, San Diego;  and director of marketing, Scottsdale Princess Resort. 

Cheyenne Mountain Resort features  316 guest rooms and suites clustered in eight residential lodges, each with a private balcony and breathtaking views; two restaurants, a lounge and a pub; an 18-hole, Pete Dye-designed golf course; 18 tennis courts;  squash and racquetball courts;  health and fitness center; 35-acre recreation lake for water sports such as windsurfing, canoeing, sailing and trout fishing; 40,000 square feet of meeting space and a Corporate Learning Center.
