INDIAN WELLS, Calif. - April 10, 2002-- Hyatt Grand Champions Resort, known for its outstanding amenities and gracious services is undergoing an extensive expansion. The hotel's $60 million expansion will result in a luxurious 480-room hotel with a total of 88,000 square feet of meeting space and a brand-new 30,000 square foot spa.

"In our quest for continuous renewal and refinement, the ownership and management has always relied on our guests' comments and suggestions to guide us in enhancing their overall experience at the resort," said Richard L. Monfort, owner of Hyatt Grand Champions Resort. "We are looking forward to unveiling our new property in January 2003, and to position Hyatt Grand Champions Resort as the most sought after resort in the desert, offering world-class accommodations and amenities like no other."

The expansion will have many facets including an additional 142 luxury guestrooms, each with breathtaking panoramic views of the mountainous skyline.
