Opens in Monterrey, Mexico |
ATLANTA - March 8, 2002 - - Holiday Inn Express announced today that
the new 101-room Holiday Inn Express Monterrey La Fe hotel in Monterrey,
Mexico, will officially open Monday, March 11, 2002, representing another
addition to the mid-scale brand�s portfolio of limited-service hotels.
The Holiday Inn Express brand celebrated the grand opening of its sixteenth development in Mexico with a ceremony on February 13 that included President Fox, as well as the governor of Nuevo Leon, the mayor of Guadalupe, the director of tourism and the secretary of industrial development. The new Holiday Inn Express hotel is the fourth in Monterrey, Mexico. The Holiday Inn Express Monterrey La Fe is owned by Javier Maldonado, operated under a license agreement with Six Continents Hotels, Inc., and managed by Arturo Carcaño. �Development in this growing area and expanding our Holiday Inn Express
