Marriott ExecuStay Marks Three Years as Part of
Marriott International; Debuts New Logo

WASHINGTON, D.C. � March 26, 2002 � Celebrating its three-year anniversary as part of Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE:MAR), ExecuStay, the temporary housing division of Marriott International, Inc., today announced that it has changed its logo and subsequent name presentation.  The brand, now called �Marriott ExecuStay;� introduces a new tagline, �Temporary Housing With a Familiar NameSM� and has a slightly revised logo that features the Marriott logotype above the ExecuStay brand name. 
 
Joe Lavin, executive vice president and managing director of Marriott ExecuStay, said, �These subtle but important changes will continue to convey the advantages of the established ExecuStay name while reinforcing the image of � and customer benefits created by � the Marriott experience.  The combination is powerful.�  

Mr. Lavin added, �ExecuStay�s new tagline also reinforces our affiliation with Marriott, the best brand in the hospitality world, as ExecuStay continues to build upon our premium status in temporary and insurance housing.�  He added that Marriott ExecuStay is the only temporary housing provider with a frequent travel program, Marriott Rewards®.  Voted "Best Hotel Rewards Program in the World" for the fifth consecutive year by frequent travelers and readers of Business Traveler magazine, Marriott Rewards is the world�s largest multi-brand frequent guest program with 2,100 participating hotels and more than 16 million members.
