David S. Feder Named President of Boca Resorts, Inc.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Jan. 23, 2002 - David S. Feder has been promoted President and Chief Operating Officer of Boca Resorts, Inc. (NYSE: RST). In his new position, Feder will be responsible for all company operations. Most
recently Feder served as a Corporate Senior Vice President Resort Operations.

Feder replaces Richard C. Rochon who has resigned and announced plans to start a private equity investment and management company. Rochon will continue serving as Vice Chairman of the Boca Resorts, Inc. Board of Directors.

The announcement was made by H. Wayne Huizenga, Chairman of Boca Resorts, Inc. ``We are pleased that David has accepted our offer to become President of our Company. He has a unique understanding of the luxury lodging industry and understands the potential of this unique collection of properties. He is a skilled and talented manager who understands our industry from the ground up,'' said Huizenga.

Feder began his career at his family's hotel in New York. He joined the Boca Raton Resort & Club in 1987 as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales, and was later named Senior Vice President and General Manager. In 1999, Boca Resorts, Inc. acquired the Arizona Biltmore Hotel and Spa in Phoenix and named Feder Senior Vice President and Managing Director. He returned to the Boca in October of 2001. He has also served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at the Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida, and the Innisbrook Resort in Tarpon Springs, Florida. He also held management positions in sales, marketing and operations for Princess Hotels International, The Plaza in New York City and the St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco.

Feder holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from American University, Washington, D.C., and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Rider College in Trenton, New Jersey.

Boca Resorts, Inc. owns luxury resort properties and golf courses in Florida. The Company's resort and golf portfolio includes the Boca Raton Resort & Club, The Registry Resort and The Edgewater Beach Hotel in Naples, Florida and the Hyatt Regency Pier 66 Hotel and Marina, the Radisson Bahia Mar Resort and Yachting Center, Grande Oaks Golf Club and Naples Grande Golf Club.
