Baymont Inns & Suites Completes Transition
of its Reservation System

Begins Work on State-of-the-Art Two-way System

MILWAUKEE, Wis., November 19, 2001Baymont Inns & Suites today announced that it has successfully completed the transition of its reservation system to the new state-of-the-art facilities of InnLink Corp., one of the nations leading reservation service providers.

The migration to InnLinks central reservation center (CRC) in Nashville, Tenn., went without a hitch, and early results point to significantly enhanced guest service and improved contribution, said Jim Abrahamson, president, Baymont Inns & Suites.  Response from our managers and franchisees has been equally positive.  InnLinks seamless connectivity to all of the major Global Distribution Systems (GDS) already is significantly enhancing our electronic booking capabilities.  With the U.S. traveling public currently favoring mid-priced properties, we are well positioned to gain market share.

& Suites and Mike Young, InnLink Corp.
president
Abrahamson noted that Baymont and InnLink already are working on a new, proprietary, two-way communication system that will continuously link Baymont hotels with InnLinks reservation center through a satellite-based Wide Area Network.  The new two-way system is expected to increase the number of rooms sold from the CRC and to maximize revenues.

When fully implemented in 2002, the new two-way system will increase the contribution from the CRC, GDS and Internet channels; provide all room types and offer last room sales availability in all distribution channels; present a single point of entry for all rates; and improve integrity of the CRC with the customer.  We already are aggressively moving forward and expect to implement the cutting-edge system by next summer, he said.

Mike Young, InnLink Corp. president stated that InnLink has a staff dedicated and trained to handle the Baymont Inns & Suites call volume. Our response time has improved over the previous call center operation, and our conversion ratio is higher.  We see room for continued improvement in contribution to occupancy by the reservation center.

Headquartered in Hendersonville, Tenn., InnLink Corporation is one of the nations leading private label voice and electronic reservation services.  For more than a decade, the company has provided services to a diverse group of hotel brands and independent hotels, ranging from budget to five-star properties.  InnLink utilizes a combination of existing and proprietary software to service its client base, including WizCom gateway technology.
