| ORANJESTAD, Aruba (July 10, 2001) � La Cabana All Suite Beach Resort
in Aruba has named veteran hotelier Lou Roelofsen as the new general manager
of the deluxe property. He will be responsible for overseeing the
day-to-day operations of the hotel.
Prior to joining La Cabana, Roelofsen spent eight years as the general manager of the Princess Beach Resort & Casino, a Crowne Plaza Resort, in Curacao. Roelofsen, a Curacao native, is no stranger to Aruba. In the late
1970�s and early 1980�s, he spent time with the Holiday Inn Aruba Beach
Resort holding food and beverage manager and duty manager titles.
Then, in 1993, he had the occasion to return to Curacao as general manager of the Princess Beach Resort & Casino. His move to La Cabana in Aruba in 2001 keeps him working within the Dutch Caribbean while offering new challenges and opportunities. �Lou Roelofsen�s 25 years of hotel industry experience in the Caribbean and the Bahamas, plus his energy, enthusiasm and excellent managerial skills, make him a superb addition to the La Cabana team,� said Hans Vink, director of OHEM, N.V., the management company.
