Duncan & Miller Designs Sophisticated
Decor with Technological Advancements
CHICAGO - May 2, 2001 - Radisson Hotel & Suites, 160 E. Huron, has
unveiled a sophisticated new look in its 13th floor, 5600 square foot meeting
and function space. This is the third major improvement to reach completion
during ongoing renovations at the 350-room luxury property. Other
projects completed within the calendar year include a new, contemporary
look for the lobby and the introduction of a new, Italian restaurant called
Becco doro.
Clients have raved about the makeover of our
lobby and new meeting space, said Patty Connolly, general manager.
The fresh design, color schemes and technological addition of Wayports
high-speed internet connectivity have been applauded by our clients.
Our aggressive renovation plan simply illustrates our commitment to providing
guests and meeting planners the very best accommodations, she added.
Dallas-based Duncan & Miller Design carried its color scheme from
their lobby design (unveiled last summer) to the new meeting venues.

chocolates, espressos, and silvers harmoniously complement a variety of
greens in the bold custom carpet patterns. Rich fabrics for furnishings
and wall upholstery, and the addition of high end granite flooring exudes
quality, while the application of woods, artwork, and transitional furniture
styling surrounded by elegant new drapery treatments create a space which
can easily transition from a corporate business setting to a sophisticated
social event venue.
The property is managed by MeriStar Hotels & Resorts, which manages
