 Gerald Glennon Appointed Executive 
Assistant Manager at Halekulani

HONOLULU, HI -- May 2001 -- Halekulani, Honolulu�s most prestigious luxury hotel, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Gerald Glennon as Executive Assistant Manager.

Mr. Glennon comes to Halekulani from Sofitel Miami, part of the Paris based Group Accor, where he spent two years as  Director of Food and Beverage before being appointed as the hotel�s General Manager in 1995.   Prior to Sofitel Miami, he served as Executive Assistant Manager of Sofitel San Francisco.  Mr. Glennon�s illustrious career in hospitality also includes positions in General Management on the island of Bermuda and consulting services in the area of Food & Beverage and Rooms operations.  A graduate of the University of Denver�s school  of Hotel & Restaurant Management, he has worked with Westin Hotels,  Amfac Hotels & Resorts as well as several independent,  luxury boutique hotels.

As Executive Assistant Manager, Mr. Glennon is responsible for and oversees the operational departments of the 456-room five-diamond hotel.
