William (Bill) L. Sayce Appointed General Manager

Singapore -  March 5, 2001--- The Pan Pacific Bangkok recently announced the appointment of William (Bill) L. Sayce as new General Manager, according to Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts� President Ichigo Umehara. 

A 27-year hospitality veteran, Sayce has been with Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts for eight years, most recently as General Manager of the company�s Mauna Lani Bay Hotel & Bungalows.  He was also General Manager of The Pan Pacific Hotel Kuala Lumpur and the former Pan Pacific Hotel in Auckland, New Zealand.  Additionally, he has held management positions with Sanctuary Cove Resort & Residential Community, Gold Coast, Australia; Delta Pacific Resort and Conference Centre, Vancouver, B.C.; and several other Delta properties throughout Canada. 

Sayce received hotel management education from the Lewis Hotel School in Toronto, Canada and from Cornell University in New York.  As General Manager of The Pan Pacific Bangkok, Sayce will be responsible for all management operational functions, including sales and marketing, operations, and owner relations.
