 Over 70 National and Regional Vendors Set for 
The AmericInn® Lodging System Annual Convention

 
Minneapolis, MN (March 16, 2001) -- AmericInn International, LLC, the franchisor for the AmericInn® Lodging System, will assemble franchise owners and managers for its annual convention on May 6-8, 2001.  �This event brings our chain together and provides a unique forum for the exchange of ideas and educational information�, said Luke Fowler, Chairman and CEO.  �Our convention has become the highlight of our AmericInn® calendar of events as evidenced in nearly 100% chainwide participation�, he added.  

The AmericInn® Annual Convention provides franchise owners and managers with information, education and networking opportunities to enhance their knowledge and the success potential of their operations. �During our convention, we recognize the top achievements of people within our franchise locations and honor their success. We also throw in a little fun, food, prizes and music to entertain and thank our franchisees for their contributions to the success of the AmericInn® System�, adds Fowler.  This year the convention theme will focus on an AmericInn® Odyssey-a musical revue.   
   
Keynote speakers include: 

  • Caesar Smith a trainer and seminar leader in human resource development; 
  • America�s best-known travel writer and commentator Rudy Maxa, who examines the hospitality industry, it�s future and the concepts behind repeat business; author and speaker, 
  • Terri Sjodin will disclose how to build and deliver a more effective sales presentation; 
  • Pam Samaniego, a representative from Lexington Services will discuss opportunities to enhance reservation potential through the AmericInn® Global Distribution System (GDS); 
  • therapist, author, comedian and actress, Connie Podesta will deliver an interactive presentation on dealing with difficult people and 
  • Arnold Sanow, a business and marketing strategist will focus on ways to attract more customers and how to keep them coming back.
Over 70 national and regional vendors of quality products and services for the hospitality industry will be in attendance for the annual vendor Trade Exhibition hosted by the AmericInn® Supply Division and Vendor Partners.
