 Soros and Dolce International Partner to
Expand Conference Center Company in
Europe and North America
MONTVALE, NEW JERSEY (January 17, 2001). - Leading conference center company Dolce International and its current partner AEW Partners II have formed a new partnership with Soros Real Estate Investors C.V. (SREI) to significantly expand the company�s portfolio in Europe and North America. 

The $100 million investment by SREI will be leveraged to roughly $250 million to acquire European conference centers and conference resorts and to co-invest in conference center acquisitions in North America over the next three years. 

SREI is a limited partnership overseen by Soros, a private investment management firm headed by renowned financier and philanthropist George Soros. Dolce International currently represents 17 properties internationally and is the only American-based conference center company operating in Europe at this time. AEW Partners II is an investment partnership organized and managed by Boston-based AEW Capital Management who manages over $12 billion of real estate on behalf of its institutional clients.
