dpa, BerlinMcClatchy-Tribune Regional News May 20--NEUWIED, Germany -- Pinball fans have a new destination to target as the first pinball-machine hotel in Germany opens. The hotel offers three rooms decorated with the kind of garish air-brush paintings that make pinball machines beloved at truck stops round the world, according to operating partner Petra Wronewitz. The guests of the single and one double room get to share a pinball machine reserved for them. A retro-look suite in the style of the Captain Fantastic pinball game has its own machine en suite, enabling guests to play pinball the whole night. The rooms are above the German Pinball Machine Museum in Neuwied, south of Cologne, where more than 150 historic pinball machines are on display. ___ (c)2013 Deutsche Presse-Agentur GmbH (Hamburg, Germany) Visit Deutsche Presse-Agentur GmbH (Hamburg, Germany) at www.dpa.de/English.82.0.html Distributed by MCT Information Services |
