"The atmosphere at the factory I worked for could not be compared with the hotel. I feel good to be with the Westin hotel," Reshma Begum told reporters. The 19-year old seamstress survived for 17 days in the rubble of Dhaka's eight-storey Rana Plaza garment factory after it collapsed on April 24, killing 1,129 people and injuring 2,500 others. Westin Dhaka, part of the Starwood Hotels and Resorts chain, offered her a job as a public ambassador in the housekeeping department.
