How do I start a hotel??

Dear Mr. Cooper,

I work for a construction company in asia and my company is planning to developing land and make part of it a hotel. What is your suggestion on what is the most practice on how we should choose our hotel operation partner, by management contract, by francise or is there a better way or popular cooperation format.

I would appreciate if you could help me out on this.
